About Me

A solo law firm is, in effect, a start-up. I understand you and who you are. I get why you want to do what you want to do. Moreover, I have practice experience with compliance, software, employment, and more, when I worked for a start-up in health tech.

What separates me from others is experience in fields outside of the business world. I interned for a judge in the Maryland Circuit Court system, worked with the State’s Attorney, and learned from a great team of lawyers at a boutique law firm. I also worked on Capitol Hill, experiencing first-hand the intersection of public and private – whether looking at contractor expenses for an Appropriations bill or responding to constituents with real concerns about their daily lives.

I have grown up and lived in the D.C. area for most of my life and understand the strangely-unique culture that’s all our own. I studied Finance + Marketing at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree. I earned my Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, and am a member of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
